An old article in one of the TI magazines gave a method for cleaning the print head of a 10X. First, get some Radio Shack tuner cleaner and spary it on a small piece of lint free cloth. After removing the ribon, place the saturated cloth between the platen and the ribon guide and then go into the print test. This should clean crud off the print wires and prolong the life of the print head. --- ---------------------------------------------------------------- Bradley S. That's why I have a bubblejet now :) Afraid I can't help you... I just periodically clean my Gemini's head and it prints fine. It doesn't surprise me that you can't find the head. It's a 1980 (roughly) model... not likely anyone has parts stocked for it! :-) Here are the addresses for Star from my Gemini's manual. It might be outdated, but worth a shot...
