I assume that I must set one of the DIP switches : located under a clear plastic sheet below the print-head track. Can : anyone give me the settings for these DIP switches, or at least explain : which one to trip? That was a rugged little printer so I am not surprised that there are some around still. I am answering from memory so I may have this mixed up with a zillion other printers :-) As I recall, hold down the FF while you turn the printer on to get a list of switches. Hold down LF as you turn it on to get a print test; turn it off to stop. (Could have those backwards.) You are looking for the switch that will give you STD/IBM. I think it was switch #1... on the left (I think). STD emulates an Epson FX86e(?) and IBM emulates an IBM Proprinter (or was it an IBM Graphics printer?). You want the IBM setting for what you are doing. It has been a while. If I didn't remember right just put the switches back like they were ;-). Hope that helps. --Bill Washburn
