What is your config? > >Regards > >Elizabeth Power I don't have any experience with your particular configuration, but I have had problems with LA120's (and other DEC printers) as console terminals due to the fact that the default setting for many of them is 7-bit odd (or maybe EVEN or MARK) parity. I remember cases where the LA wouldn't talk to the console microcode unless the parity setting was change to 8-bit no parity, even though the terminal would work fine once the system was up, with the default setting. I don't have an LA120 manual (at home, due to a blizzard), here, but I think the setting you want is P set to 2 or 3, rather than the default value of 1. Good luck! John Santos P.S.
